Samsung Galaxy A07 Leaks: Budget Beast Spotted with Helio G99 and Android 15

Samsung Galaxy A07 Spotted on Google Play Console Ahead of Launch Key Specs and Design Revealed

Samsung appears to be gearing up for the launch of its next budget-friendly smartphone the Galaxy A07. The upcoming device has surfaced on the Google Play Console, just days after appearing on Samsung’s official support page, hinting that its launch might be just around the corner.

The Galaxy A07 will succeed last year’s Galaxy A06, and early signs suggest it will offer a decent upgrade in both performance and design. A previous benchmark listing had already tipped the presence of a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM. The Google Play Console listing now confirms some of these details while shedding more light on what to expect.

Design and Display

The leaked image from the Play Console shows the Galaxy A07 sporting a dual rear camera setup housed in a pill-shaped module a design language consistent with recent Galaxy A and M series models. An LED flash sits next to the camera island, while the Samsung logo is prominently displayed at the bottom rear.

On the front, the A07 sticks to a waterdrop-style notch for the selfie camera and features thick bezels, particularly along the bottom edge much like its predecessor. The smartphone will feature an HD+ display (720×1600 pixels), keeping things modest yet serviceable for a budget device.

The Play Console listing confirms that the Galaxy A07 will be powered by the MT6789/DC chipset, better known as the MediaTek Helio G99, and will offer up to 6GB of RAM. This aligns with the recent Geekbench listing, which showed a variant with 4GB RAM.

Perhaps most interestingly, the phone is shown running Android 15, making it one of the first budget Samsung phones to feature the latest version of the OS out of the box a big plus for longevity and software support.

While Samsung hasn’t officially announced a release date, the A07’s appearance on both the Google Play Console and Samsung’s support site (Russia) suggests an imminent launch. Last year, the Galaxy A06 debuted before the A16, so we might see a similar rollout this year, possibly alongside the rumored Galaxy A17.

The Samsung Galaxy A07 is shaping up to be a strong contender in the budget segment, offering solid specs, the latest Android version, and a familiar yet polished design. Keep an eye out — a formal announcement might be just a few weeks away.
